Sun's path in the sky (3 min 35 sec)
To show how the sun's path in the sky changes from season to season, we look at a small area of the earth's surface, bounded by a circular horizon. To an observer on the surface of the earth, the earth seems flat and the sun appears to travel inside a vast dome in the sky.
